When I first started this blog, I had a lot of trouble coming up with a url. No matter what I tried- words, phrases, song lyrics...you name it, everything (and I mean everything) was taken.
So I desperately resorted to combining a multitude of my favourite words to make new ones. 'Floralics' was the result of that process. And I'll let you in on a little secret...
I hate it.
Sure, it's a pretty word (well, a non-existant one at least). It rolls off the tongue quite nicely and is short and sweet, but to me, it means absolutely nothing. It only brings back memories of a long night spent brainstorming, trying and failing until finally something worked.
I always knew I wanted to eventually buy a custom domain name, and now just feels like the right time to do it. So I got out my pen and paper, and this time everything came quite organically.
Stylewild.
It means a passion for the fashion industry, it means spending our grocery money on Vogue, saving an entire weeks salary to buy that one, beautiful dress and spending Friday nights in with a hot cup of earl grey scrolling through our Bloglovin' feeds. It means everything.
It's who I am. I am stylewild.
In a few days floralics.blogspot.com will be no more and stylewild.org will be up and running.
